Body of yachtsman pulled from water in Cornish marina

The body of a yachtsman who disappeared in Cornwall over the weekend has been pulled from the water.

Carl Sellden, a Swedish national, went missing on Saturday night after heading ashore from his yacht which was moored at Port Pendennis Marina in Falmouth.

Mr Sellden, 63, is understood to have been part way through a trip from his home in Sweden to the Mediterranean with his wife and daughter.

His body was recovered from Pendennis Marina in Falmouth on Thursday.

An investigation is under way but police have said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
