Man charged over Newquay stabbing

A man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after a stabbing in Newquay.
Police were called to a property in St Thomas Road on Saturday afternoon and found a man who had been assaulted.
He was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, where he is in a comfortable condition, police said.
Two local men were arrested and taken to Newquay police station. A 45-year-old man was charged, police said. He is due to appear before magistrates later.
A second 45-year-old man was released on police bail until February, pending further investigations.
