Flash warning issued for icy roads across Cornwall

A flash warning has been issued for icy roads across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The Met Office said that a band of showers moving eastwards on Thursday and low temperatures would make driving conditions hazardous.
Police said the A38 at Notter Bridge was so icy it had to be closed for an hour at about midnight while gritters treated the road surface.
Temperatures were down to -4C in places overnight, the Met Office said.
