Body found in 'explosion' caravan in west Cornwall


A body has been discovered after a caravan in west Cornwall caught fire.

Two fire crews were called to the caravan in Sancreed, west of Penzance, after receiving several 999 calls of an explosion at about 2225 GMT.

The body was discovered inside after the fire was extinguished, police said. The dead person has not yet been identified.

A joint investigation with police officers was under way into the cause, the fire service said.

Police said there were not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
