Man, 23, bailed after motorcyclist injured near Penryn


A 23-year-old man has been released on bail after a motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries in a crash with a van in Cornwall.

The incident happened on the A394 at Edgcumbe near Penryn at 1330 GMT on Saturday.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident and providing a positive breath test.

A 23-year-old man was released on bail and another man, 25, was released without charge.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the 44-year-old motorcyclist, from Truro, was in a stable condition in hospital.
