Tom Nicholas is a Folk/Acoustic musician from Crafthole, Cornwall.

He started playing solo during mid-2009, having played in a few local bands with a batch of self-penned songs.

A lot of gigging, writing and rewriting ensued until he got to the recording of his debut EP.

The five tracks on the EP draw on much folkier influences and make heavy use of the mandolin that's become a highlight of the live show.

Headshrinker Music recently reviewed some of the tracks saying of 'In My Days'.

It said: "The lyrics/vocal are the main force here and one to be reckoned with."

The reviewer said 'This is the Life' was an instant classic.

Tom says he draws his influences from all over the place both musically and non musically.

His favourite artists are Bruce Springsteen, Billy Bragg and Bob Dylan.

Their influences can be heard throughout Tom's music.

Tom's EP 'Man and his Music' is out now. It can be downloaded from the usual sites.
