Vandals 'did not cause Penwithick man's death'

A coroner has ruled that a pensioner whose home was damaged several times by vandals died of natural causes.

Colin Hudson, 67, collapsed outside his home in Penwithick, near St Austell in Cornwall, on 5 February.

The inquest, in Truro, heard Mr Hudson, who had suffered incidents of anti-social behaviour for nearly five years, had a history of heart problems.

Deputy coroner Andrew Cox said there was no link between Mr Hudson's death and any youths' conduct before he died.
