Three suspects arrested after Looe knife burglary

Armed police have arrested three men following a burglary in Cornwall in which a couple were held at knifepoint.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the burglary happened at 1845 GMT on Tuesday in East Looe.

Three men forced their way into a house in Trenant Road, where they held a man and woman at knifepoint.

Three men, aged 17, 19 and 20, were later arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

A police spokesman said the victims had not been physically hurt.

Stolen property was recovered from the town's Sunrising estate where the suspects were arrested.

They are being held in custody at Launceston police station.

Police have appealed to anyone with information to contact them.
