Culvert collapses on A38 in the Glynn Valley

A culvert running alongside part of the A38 in the Glynn Valley has collapsed because of heavy rainfall, the Highways Agency has said.

It means part of the road between Bodmin Parkway station and the Halfway House is unsupported.

The agency has put up temporary lights which are causing delays.

A spokesman said the agency hoped to introduce two-way traffic with a speed limit in the next few days so work could continue to repair the problem.
