Man charged over three Redruth armed robberies

A man has been charged in connection with three armed robberies in a week, in the Redruth area of Cornwall.

The Camborne man, 30, has been charged with three counts of robbery, two of possession of a blade in a public place and one of possession of class A drugs.

The robberies took place at the Iceland store and the Co-Op store, both in Redruth, last Thursday and Sunday and on Monday at the Spar shop in Pool.

The suspect was bailed to appear before Truro magistrates on 9 February.
