Royal Mail van theft accused Adam Johnson remanded in custody

A teenager accused of stealing a Royal Mail van in Cornwall has appeared before magistrates in Bodmin.

The van was taken from Callington Road in Saltash on Tuesday and collided with three vehicles during a pursuit by Devon and Cornwall Police.

Adam Johnson, 18, of Home Park, Landrake, was charged with robbery, attempted robbery, theft and dangerous driving.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Truro Crown Court on 11 May.
