Man arrested in connection with Cornish restaurant knife attack

A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged knife attack near a Cornish restaurant.

Devon and Cornwall Police said an 8inch (20cm) knife was held against the victim near a Tintagel restaurant on 9 September.

The offender ran off after the victim grabbed the knife, cutting his hands.

Police said a man from the Camelford area has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released on bail.
