A renewable energy company from Cornwall has gone into administration with the loss of 29 jobs.

Tolvaddon-based Enact Energy Renewables has appointed Begbies Traynor as administrators.

The administrators will now attempt to find a buyer for some or all of the company's assets.

The firm, which was launched in 1996, was given Green Deal provider status earlier this year by the Department of Energy and Climate Change.

No-one from the company was available for comment.
