Cornwall construction worker's death investigated

The death of a construction worker at a farm in Cornwall is being investigated.

The man, aged in his early-30s, died after an incident at Penare Farm, at Higher Fraddon.

The Health and Safety Executive confirmed a joint investigation with Devon and Cornwall Police was under way.

The owners of the farm have confirmed the fatality, which happened on Wednesday, but said they were not in a position to comment.

A biogas plant is being constructed at the farm in mid-Cornwall to create energy from animal waste.

It is currently not known how the man died.
