Fatal A39 crash: Motorcyclist named as Terrence Lawson

A motorcyclist killed in a collision with a car in Cornwall has been named by police.

The crash happened on the A39 near Camelford on Sunday. Terrence Lawson, from West Tolgus, near Redruth, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 58-year-old was riding a red Ducati motorbike which collided with a blue Fiat Multipla in the Allen Valley.

Part of the A39 - one of the county's main roads - was closed for several hours while police investigated.

Police said another motorbike was also believed to be involved and the rider had non-life threatening injuries.

Officers appealed for witnesses to come forward.
