M40 motorway partly reopened after lorry crash


Repairs are being carried out after a lorry carrying medical gas cylinders crashed into the central reservation of the M40 in Warwickshire.

The lorry crash between junction 15 for Longbridge Island and Warwick, and junction 16 for Henley-in-Arden.

The road was closed in both directions from the M42 entry point to junction 15 at 0550 BST. No-one was hurt.

Two lanes reopened in both directions at 0730 BST and the Highways Agency said traffic was flowing freely again.
