Cannabis factory found at Coventry house
Police found a cannabis factory at a house in Coventry after smelling the drug through a broken window.
West Midlands Police was called to Avon Street early on Monday after a member of the public heard glass being broken and saw a window had been smashed.
There was a "strong smell" of cannabis wafting through the window after police arrived and 15 plants were discovered.
Nobody was there at the time. The force was still in the process of dismantling the cannabis factory on Wednesday.
It added an electricity firm had checked the property was safe, as often in such cases the electricity supply has been tampered with.
No arrests have been made and inquiries are continuing.
