Third man arrested after Coventry city centre stabbing

A third man has been arrested after a 22-year-old man was stabbed in his stomach.

Police believe the attack occurred at the S7ven nightclub, in Hales Street, in Coventry city centre, at 01:45 (BST) on Monday.

The victim, from Coundon, has undergone surgery and remains in a stable condition in hospital.

A 24-year-old from Coventry was arrested on Wednesday and has since been bailed, police said.

Two others, aged 24 and 23 and also from the city, were arrested on Monday.

Both have been released on police bail, a spokesman said.
