Fan accused of dangerous driving at Ricoh Arena
A man has been accused of driving at a car park steward following a League Cup match in Coventry.
The steward suffered a minor head injury in a low-speed collision after getting caught up in stadium traffic, West Midlands Police said.
The incident occurred at the Ricoh Arena where Coventry City had beaten Birmingham City 3-2 on Tuesday.
The man, 26, was charged with dangerous driving and will appear before Coventry magistrates on 12 September.
He was released on bail ahead of the court appearance with conditions not to visit the Ricoh Arena or to make contact with the steward, a police spokesman said.
