Ian Chaundy not guilty of killing partner Paul Carscadden

A man has been cleared of killing his civil partner by pushing him into the path of a bus.

Ian Chaundy, of Avenue Road, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, had been accused of the murder of Paul Carscadden on a night out in the town in June 2011.

The judge in his trial last month ruled the murder charge should be dropped to manslaughter.

The jury at Warwick Crown Court on 21 September then cleared him of manslaughter.
