Cannabis plants seized by Cumbria Police
Cannabis plants worth thousands of pounds have been seized by police in west Cumbria.
Officers made the discovery during a raid on an address in Highfield Court, Wigton, on Wednesday.
Plants with an estimated street value of about £5,000, and harvested bush worth a further £2,500, were recovered.
A 42-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance with intent to supply, and later bailed.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: "Tackling drugs on our streets is a priority."
