Plans for a new £4m health centre in Cumbria have been unveiled.
If approved, the centre would be built in Birks Road, Cleator Moor, in the west of the county and would offer dental as well as GP services.
Existing doctors surgeries in Wath Brow and Wyndham Street in the town would also moved into the new building.
Copeland Council is currently considering the planning application and if approved the health centre would open in 2012.
Copeland GP, Dr David Rogers, said: "A new modern purpose built health centre will provide all the integrated health services a town the size of Cleator Moor needs in one location."
