Warning after Carlisle kitchen fire call-outs

Published
Firefighters are urging people to take action to prevent kitchen fires after a series of call-outs.
Figures released by Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service showed every home fire in Carlisle in the past two months was kitchen-based.
Since the start of June, crews have dealt with 10 incidents and the fire service has asked people to take care.
Their advice includes keeping cookers and hobs clear and taking care with chip pans.
