A car passenger died in hospital five days after being involved in a three-vehicle collision on a Cumbrian road.
The 82-year-old man, from the Kendal area, and the female driver, 56, were seriously injured when they were in a collision with another car and a van.
The crash happened on the A590 at Newland, near Ulverston, on 6 October. The man died in hospital on Monday, Cumbria Police said.
Officers have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
The female car driver was discharged from hospital later.
The drivers of the other car, a 47-year-old man from Flookburgh area, and the van, a 49-year-old man from Manchester area, were not injured.
Police said they would like to speak to any witnesses particularly the driver of a blue 4x4, which was believed to have been turning off the A590 towards Next Ness at the time.
