Man admits killing Cumbrian father-of-three

A man has admitted killing a Cumbrian father-of-three.

David Crossman, 39, of Hartington Street, Barrow, was discovered unconscious in Aberdeen Street in the town on 27 June and died later.

Lee Cooksey, 39, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court on Tuesday accused of his manslaughter.

Cooksey, of Schooner Street, Barrow, pleaded guilty and was remanded in custody for background reports. He is expected to be sentenced on 9 November.
