Barrow street clutter crackdown to start

  • Published

Owners of boats, trailers and caravans which are cluttering roads in Barrow have been warned they will be removed.

Authorities in the Cumbrian town said they are concerned about items left for an "unreasonable" length of time.

They said they could block emergency and refuse vehicles, create risks for children playing and become a target for vandals.

An operation will start in January and owners are being urged to remove their property.
