New woodland plan for Talkin Tarn beauty spot
- Published
Proposals to plant more than 11,000 trees to enhance a Cumbria beauty spot have been announced.
Visitors to Talkin Tarn country park, near Brampton, are being asked for their views on the scheme, which would extend and link into existing woodland.
Depending on feedback, an application will then be submitted to the Woodland Grant Scheme, for funding of £30,000.
If successful, the planting, on area currently used as grazing land, could be completed by the end of March.
