Local diversions will be in place during the temporary road closure. Road resurfacing will also start in Coniston on 28 February.
Yewdale Road will be closed in phases from Shepherd's Bridge Lane to Lake Road.
The work will take place in phases for up to two weeks and local diversions will be in place.
