Two men have been charged with making threats with an imitation gun during disturbances in Workington.
During the first incident, a group of youths were threatened and during the second, a man, aged 70, was confronted.
A 23-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possessing an imitation gun with intent to cause fear.
Another man, aged 47, has been charged with one count of the same charge. Both men are due before West Allerdale magistrates on Friday.
The 23-year-old man from Workington has been charged in connection with both incidents.
The 47-year-old of Keswick has been charged in connection with threatening the 70-year-old man, Cumbria Police said.
