Man's sudden death in Crosby investigated

The sudden death of a man in a village in west Cumbria is being investigated by police.

Cumbria Police said it was called by the ambulance service to the property on North View, Crosby, near Maryport, in the early hours.

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are describing the death as "unexplained".

The property was cordoned off while investigations were carried out.

Police said they believed they knew the identity of the man but had not formally identified him.
