Christopher Townson denies filming girl at pool

A man has gone on trial accused of videoing a schoolgirl on his phone as she changed after swimming at a leisure centre in Cumbria.

Christopher Townson, 25, from Jenkin Rise, Kendal, pleaded not guilty to voyeurism, at Carlisle Crown Court.

The incident allegedly took place at the Holgate caravan park at Silverdale, near Carnforth in June 2011.

The girl, who was 15 at the time, said she was in a changing cubicle when a phone was held underneath the divider.

The trial is expected to last until the end of the week.
