Barrow murder inquiry: Police confirm woman's identity

A woman found dead in Cumbria has been named by police.

The body of Rebecca Marvin, 25, was found in a property on Napier Street, Barrow, at about 09:40 BST on Sunday.

Cumbria Police confirmed a post-mortem examination had been carried out but said further tests were required to determine the cause of death.

A 68-year-old man from Barrow is being held on suspicion of murder and officers have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Det Ch Insp Bob Qazi said police were continuing "to investigate a number of avenues".
