A 71-year-old woman has died in a head-on collision between two cars in Cumbria.
The crash happened at 16:45 on Friday on the A685 near Kirkby Stephen.
Jean Partridge, from Shropshire, was driving from Tebay towards Kirkby Stephen when she collided with a car travelling in the opposite direction.
She died at the scene. The driver of the other car, a 41-year-old man from Kirby Stephen, was taken to Cumberland Infirmary with minor injuries.
