A mother has denied murdering her two children in an arson attack in Derbyshire.

Fiona Adams, 23, pleaded not guilty at Nottingham Crown Court to the murder of Niamh, five, and two-year-old Cayden, who died in Buxton on 23 April.

Ms Adams, who also denies arson, jumped from an upstairs window at the property on Edale Way with her eight-month-old son, Kiernan.

She was remanded into custody. A trial is due to start in January next year.

Ms Adams also denied a charge of causing grievous bodily harm to Kiernan.
