Two arrests in Derbyshire police drug raids

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of drug-related charges after raids on properties in Allenton and Chellaston in Derbyshire.

Officers searched a house in Morningside Close, Allenton, on 29 July and another on Second Avenue, Chellaston, the next day.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug in connection with the first raid.

She has been interviewed and bailed pending further inquiries.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis in the second raid.

He was interviewed and received a caution.
