Derbyshire groups urged to apply for transport funding

Community groups are being urged to apply for a share of £52,000 to help people without vehicles get about in Derbyshire.

Groups can apply for up to £5,000 to buy cycles or vehicles for disabled people or to set up a car share scheme.

They can also get up to £1,000 to pay for advertising.

The initiative is designed to help people without a car get to the shops, doctors surgeries or leisure facilities more easily.
