A Derbyshire church is being knocked down and rebuilt because church leaders say the congregation has outgrown it.
More than 200 worshippers attend the Junction 28 Church in South Normanton each week.
It is now being demolished to make way for a larger building on the same site, which is expected to be ready for use within 12 months.
Services will be held at the Genesis Centre in Alfreton while the new church is being built.
Senior pastor Roy Taylor said the church will be able to cater for more people and also be used by the community.
He said: "It'll be wonderful. A purpose-built facility that will be a modern church and fit for use in this day and age.
"It will be able to be used for many things within the community, such as for mothers and toddlers and youth work."
