Crews tackle fire at three firms in Belper

Fire crews have been tackling a fire which affected three properties in a Derbyshire town.

At its height, at about 1000 BST, between 20 and 30 firefighters dealt with the blaze on King Street, Belper.

A spokesman for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue said the fire started in a florist's and spread to two other businesses.

No-one was injured. Fire investigators have confirmed that the cause was accidental.

Part of King Street was closed to traffic because of the fire but has now reopened.
