A new £20m flagship health centre has been officially opened in a Derbyshire town.

The Derbyshire Community Health Services facility is a combined hospital, GP surgery and pharmacy.

An NHS spokesperson said the centre would benefit 35,000 people and was the first major redevelopment of health services in Ashbourne in 30 years.

It has replaced the old St Oswald's Hospital and two doctors surgeries in the town.
