Staff at four pubs in Derbyshire have been fined after selling alcohol to children.

The staff were given £80 fines in the operation by police and licensing officers from Derbyshire Dales District Council and High Peak Borough Council.

Two girls, aged 16 and 17, were used to carry out test purchases at the pubs.

The team, which visited eight pubs over the weekend, described the actions of the members of staff as "disappointing".
