Warning over Bakewell cash machine card cloning

Three incidents of card cloning in one week in Derbyshire have prompted a warning from police.

All involved the same cash machine outside the Co-op store in Bakewell, with victims reporting money being taken from their accounts.

A witness also reported seeing two men with a "device" at the same spot earlier in December.

Officers in the area have appealed for people to check cash machines carefully before using them.

The Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team also advised those getting cash to hide their PIN and keep an eye out for people acting suspiciously nearby.
