Drivers are being urged not to park illegally on pedestrianised streets in a Derbyshire town centre.
Police have warned they will be clamping down on motorists in Chesterfield who flout the rules.
Drivers who continue to ignore the restrictions in the Market Place and Rykneld Square will be fined, Derbyshire Police said.
Officers will be handing out leaflets explaining where motorists can and cannot park and any exemptions.
Sgt Nick Booth, of Derbyshire Police, said: "A lot of motorists are still unaware of these parking restrictions so we will be giving out leaflets to let people know what the restrictions are and that they will be enforced.
"If motorists continue to ignore these restrictions we will be taking further action and issuing fixed penalty notices."
