Murder charge over Derby street death of Ashley Finlay

A 29-year-old has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Derby.

Ashley Finlay, 24, of Spondon, was found near the Olde Bell pub, Sadler Gate, at 03:30 BST on Monday.

The male suspect was arrested on Monday and is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

A post-mortem examination has taken place but police have not released details of how Mr Finlay died.

A 45-year-old also arrested has been released on police bail.
