Tributes have been paid to a five-year-old girl who was killed with her sister in a crash in Derbyshire.

Chantelle Keywood was killed along with her 22-month-old sister Yleina on the B6042 near Creswell, on Monday afternoon.

The Year 1 pupil at the Priory Church of England Primary School in Worksop, Nottinghamshire was described as a "quiet, thoughtful and sensitive" girl.

The girls' mother, 29, and another sister, seven, suffered minor injuries.

"As a school, we will be supporting our children and families during these difficult days," a spokesman said.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole Keywood family and those close to them.

"At school, Chantelle was a quiet, thoughtful and sensitive girl who will be greatly missed by her friends and teachers."

The family, from the Worksop area, were travelling towards the A60 when their car was in a head-on collision with another car.

The driver of the other car, a 23-year-old woman from Worksop, sustained an arm injury.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact Derbyshire Police.
