South Normanton death: Two arrested on suspicion of murder

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death in Derbyshire.

Daniel Baker, 32, was found in Mansfield Road, South Normanton on Friday evening.

A 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, who are both from South Normanton, were arrested earlier.

A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Baker died from a stab wound. He was found collapsed at about 23:30 BST by a couple walking along the road.

Police said Mr Baker caught a Red Arrow bus from Clay Cross to Derby at about 17:00 on Thursday and detectives are keen to speak to anyone who might have seen him between that time and Friday evening.
