Body found in search for missing chief inspector Tim Frohwein
Derbyshire Police searching for one of their colleagues who has been missing from his home for almost a week say they have found a body.
A spokesperson said a man's body was found in the Goyt Valley at 13:00 GMT.
The man has yet to be formally identified but police believe it is 48-year-old Ch Insp Tim Frohwein, who lived in Buxton.
Mr Frohwein was on leave after recently having knee surgery. Police added there were no suspicious circumstances.
The married father was chief inspector at Chesterfield, looking after Amber Valley and Chesterfield and was previously head of roads policing.
