Tow truck and bus crash into Glossop shops

A tow truck and a bus have crashed into a row of shops in a Peak District town, causing structural damage and a suspected gas leak.

Fire crews were called to the crash in Victoria Road, Glossop, at about 18:00 BST.

One person in the truck was taken to hospital for treatment, while two people were evacuated, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue said.

Mains services have been turned off while crews deal with the incident.

There are no reports of any other injuries.
