Euthanasia drugs stolen from vets in Willington

Drugs which could prove fatal to humans have been stolen from a vets in Derbyshire, police have said.

The force said thieves stole a safe containing medication and a laptop from Beech Veterinary Clinic in Willington near Derby.

The theft took place at some point between 18:00 BST on Wednesday and Thursday morning.

The stolen safe contained the drug Euthanal, commonly used by vets to put animals to sleep.
