Darren Broadbent death: Sheffield boy, 15, charged with murder

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a man was fatally stabbed in the chest.

The body of Darren Broadbent was discovered at Thorntree Court, in Grangewood, Chesterfield, on Monday.

The teenager, from Sheffield, was due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

Derbyshire Police said the youth is the third person to be charged in relation to the investigation into Mr Broadbent's death.

Jaiden Browne-Evans, 18, of Beaver Hill Road, Sheffield, who has also been charged with murder, is due before Nottingham Crown Court on Monday.

Susan Shaw, 44, from Chesterfield, who has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, will appear at Derby Crown Court on 2 September.

A 36-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on bail.
