Workers at a Devon company may get their jobs back after a new buyer was found for the business.

RD Industries, based in Estover, Plymouth, went into administration, with the loss of 75 jobs.

The stationery firm has now been acquired by West Design Products, which manufactures and distributes arts, crafts, toys and stationery.

West Design's managing director said he would be employing staff who had previously worked at the company.

Production restart

"It is our intention to recruit as many as possible," Mike Bray told BBC News.

"We were impressed with the large range of products offered by RD Industries and how well it complements our existing ranges."

Mr Bray said the acquisition would benefit customers of both companies.

Production could restart at the Estover site as early as next week.
